Self-care isn’t always trips to the spa, massages, and nails.
Don’t get me wrong, those should be non-negotiables!
While on our vacation with my love, I was sitting by the pool thinking about this.
Sometimes self-care is. . .
meal planning,
going to bed early,
asking for help,
saying no without guilt,
letting people go who don’t bring joy,
forgiving yourself for not meeting your impossible standards,
deciding you are worthy,
knowing you are enough and doing enough,
speaking and thinking kindness to yourself,
loving yourself just a little more every day
